Why is a drug-dealer considered by a police officer as being the scum of the earth...?

When the same police officer will celebrate the success of arresting the dealer by going to the pub and drinking alcohol. Is the off-licence alcohol dealer or the goverment not more the scum of the earth for selling or allowing a drug responsible for a lot of domestic violence, drunken driving deaths etc. ?|||no if your a citizen you are the scum of the earth, the only ones that count according to them are them|||It's not just police officers that think drug dealers are scum. I happen to think so too.|||because drug dealers are the scum of the earth|||Drugs don't make people as productive machines for capitalist society. They don't want to allow you to cool your head (maybe even open your mind f'ck forbid) they need complete control. Drugs free you they want to enslave you. Plus drugs are immoral and everything immoral has to be outlawed because we live in a moralist dictatorship. The police are just on self-righteous power trips.|||Because drug dealers ARE the scum of the earth. They take a noble human life and break it down into a barnyard animal, destroying the family members and friends of anyone they can reach, for money. They shoot people all the time just for money or pride too. Jealousy causes way more domestic violence cell phones cause way way more road fatalities. Just because some stoned s***head wants to absolve himself of the evil of making that happen just for intoxication, doesn't mean the government is the worse for allowing the sale of alchol.|||Drug dealers are the scum of the earth because they peddle poison and deal more times often than not in violence. However, here in California, police officers are not much better. Many of them deal in drugs, actively participate in violent crimes, abuse their authority, play political sides, take payoffs, etc. And the citizens know it and don't respect them. So, I kinda see your point.
