Christians, why do you think that you can lead an evil life with no fear of punishment from God because of?

your faith in Jesus? Do you think that Jesus came on earth to give you license to commit all evil acts without any fear?

Jesus says "Not everyone who calls me LORD LORD shall enter the kingdom of God, but he who does the will of my father"

Do you think you will be saved unless you obey the words of Jesus?|||In our Christ walk God tells us to do no harm to humans...this is clear---to love them---another duty which is our part to obey, Love God and Man with all our Hearts....this by itself is a life time action.Pray with out ceasing. Put on the whole Armor of God each Day for protection of the Evil one. Never drink in excess.6 days you work and the 7th Sabbath, you rest. Provide for your family or God calls you worse than an infidel. Not good. If you really have God in your heart---you will not want to do Evil--ever!! You will know them by their fruits. If you choose to do evil, thinking you have a free pass to Heaven,...well this is what Satan did and he got his behind cast of out of heaven so this is not how it works.

You can not take advantage of the Lords Kindness and mercy and trash it....you will not get one foot into the pearly gates with this attitude. and choose to be rebellious. It does not work like this.Just because one calls himself a Christians---means nothing, if he has no Love and doing evil deliberately over and over--well,he just does not have Love and with out Love he has nothing. These are Gods words not mine 1 Corinthians 13:4|||It is very sad indeed and I do not fall into that category and keep all Ten Commandments including the one that Satan does such a good job on keeping most in the dark on.

Jesus made it very clear that those who willfully break His law are heading to one place only. Very sad.|||Jesus (real name Yahushua) does not give a license to do bad. Just b/c you can be forgiven for your sins doesn't mean you can just sin and then ask forgiveness. It's all about the faith. You cannot have faith without the works and "fruit" produced.|||You are right...the christians you speak of are "nominal christians" which means in name only. ONLY true christians who have Jesus as their Lord and Savior desire to obey Him and love Him, not evil. We are to have a healthy fear of God which is a respect and in awe of His power, not scared away from Him. In the gospels Jesus tells Nicodemus (a member of the Jewish council) that you must be born again...meaning we are given a new nature by Him when the Holy Spirit who indwells christians changes them...which does not support a life of evil..God bless|||Your post is based on Matthew chapter 7, The context is addressing false prophets, not ordinary Jews or Christians.

Prophets of God are supposed to speak in the name of the LORD. But if they speak false words then they are the ones in trouble.

A false prophet that was a Jew is found in Acts 13:6, the apostle Paul dealt with him.

The danger of Jesus saying "depart from me I never knew you".. is applied only to a false prophet who isn't likely to be truly saved.. and leads people away from God as the false prophet of Acts 13:6 attempted to do.

All Christians do the will of the Father in accepting Jesus as their Savior.. As the apostle Paul did, as it says in 1 Timothy 2:4, "It is the will of God that all be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth."|||That is an insult to a Holy God. Read 1st John. Also,

What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound?

Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?

Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?

Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection, knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin.

For he who has died has been freed from sin.

Romans 6:1-7|||You cannot live your life like the devil and do evil things and go to heaven.

yes we all have to obey the Lord.

to be saved is to accept what Jesus did on the cross and living our lives for Jesus.|||We have to obey the words of the Christ yes, and live like Christ told us to.

He told us what to do, it's up to us if we choose to do it or not.

Now you're just generalizing though, obviously.|||I am not sure of your motives. But that's not what being a Christian is about. He changes you and you become a better, more moral person.|||christians are rooted in the love of God because of Christ Jesus who died for us to redeem us of our sins and misdeeds, Glory be to HIs Name.|||I really don't understand your question. But as Christians we are called to Fear God and God alone.|||They have nothing to fear that's why they are christians - only atheists.|||Jesus did not give us a license to sin. In John 3 he talks about how it is our sin that has judged us. If we love him we will keep his commandments.|||I've yet to meet a Christian that thinks that. If so, they certainly know zip about the Bible.|||because there is no god so why be afraid?|||we don't think we can lead a evil life
