The images on google earth show a top view. And you cant zoom beyond some limit. IS there some other service which allows you to zoom further and also have an angle for the zoom.
So that for example one can view the licence plate of a car ??|||yes! they have stuff like that. the one on google earth is a mapping system anyway. it's on spysatilite.com and it cost about $40. monthly|||No there isn't. Unless you are working for the Cia. They can do that if they reprogram the satellite. Their images are much sharper. You can tilt your view in Google Earth too, but it will only give you a perspective view, it'll not look at the side of things.
Sorry man!|||No, and Yes.
No, there are no satellites that have what you want.
Yes, but the coverage is very limited. It is to use the ever growing network of private and public web cams that are springing up all over. Chances are, you won't find one that shows what you want, but you never know!
;-D There are sites that specialize in web cam searches.|||No, there is no such service for "real-time" observations. There are some satellite imaging companies that can take very high resolution images (though I doubt you could read license plates)...but that will cost you thousands of dollars. Even on their websites, you can't just cruise around like you do on Google Earth and look at anything you want...they actually take the specific pictures that their clients ask for. (And then those photos belong to the client and are not put in the puiblic domain.) Many of the folks that subscribe to those websites are in the media or are involved in land survey/development. They are generally not for people just wanting to cruise around looking at super high-res images.
