Google Earth download problems on Laptop?

Hiya, I have a computer and a laptop. I have no problems at all with google earth on my computer, but I've downloaded it on my laptop 3 times now had I've ended up having to bring my laptop back to factory settings because when I bring up a webpage it freezes. It'll let me type in the search engine, say facebook or youtube etc, will find them, then I go to click on the link and then it just freezes. It won't let me close the web page either. And I also get 'goolge end user license agreement' up aswell and it then tells me on that page that there's no internet connect, which there is lol, and they cannot display the web page, so it won't let me finalize google earth to get the end result. And with the end user license agreement there is no way of getting rid of the page. It won't close as it has no red cross in the top right hand corner. Any ideas anyone please?
