If the fish in the rivers belong to Corzine do the people of the Earth belong to Obama?

One of my neighbors, an incredibly nosey NJ DEP (Division of Environmental Protection-Fish Game and Wildlife) officer knocked on my door and informed me that he had heard that I was keeping striped bass, that I had caught in the Passaic River, in a fish tank (this is true BTW).*

After I told him that I had a fishing license and refused to allow him to enter my apartment to search for these fish, he told me that the NJ fishing license only permitted me to either catch and release or eat the fish but, because it didn’t specifically say that I could keep them in a tank, I was not allowed to do so.

He then went on to say that “All the fish and other wildlife in the state of New Jersey BELONG TO JOHN CORZINE” and that “doing anything with the wildlife other then what JOHN CORZINE EXPRESSLY ALLOWS (ME) TO DO in the permit amounts to poaching and carries a potential ten year prison sentence(!!!)”

How can wild animals, and fish of all things, BELONG TO JOHN CORZINE!?!?!?!?!?!

The last time I checked, John Corzine was little more then a bad governor with ties to corrupt politicians, not a god (and God is the only one who could possibly exert dominion/ownership of the animals).

However, if John Corzine does ‘own’ the fish in the rivers, does B. Hussein Obama then OWN the people of this nation and Nancy Pelosi OWN the air we breathe??? How does any of this fit the fact that we are (allegedly) a republic “of the people”??? Ownership of all the wild animals by the ruler sounds more like something that was practiced in ancient Egypt when it was ruled by the Pharaoh god-kings…

*The State of NJ stocks the Passaic River with Striped Bass and, due to the polluted nature of the river, most, if not all are dead and floating on the surface of the river within three weeks. Isn’t this a great use of our tax dollars???|||The answer is no, and that DEP officer misspoke on every aspect. The fish don't even technically belong to the state, let alone the governor, as far as I know.|||Throw him the hell off of your property, and inform him that the fish are the property of the PUBLIC( that's you and me) that he and Corzine serve.|||What does the president have to do with the guy in charge of Fish and Game in New Jersey?|||Obama gimme pie and cake|||no, they don't belong to him, no he doesn't and no she doesn't, that has nothing to do with us being a republic of the people, that sounds like the waste of the tax dollars comes in when they don't take care of the water they stock the fish with, and finally congratulations on your great talent to spin any retarded story into an anti-obama rant...|||You rant about how it all affects YOU but not how it affects EVERYONE so I suspect a selfish motivation behind this. I have a feeling there is more to this story than you're saying and that you are breeding and selling the fish or just breeding and using the fish for your own consumption or as pets. Pun intended: sounds fishy to me! I'm going to take a stab at this without actual research on NJ but here's how AZ law is: An urban fishing license does not grant permission to harvest wildlife for aquariums, breeding, or commercial purposes; it is a "limited use" license. Wildlife is "regulated" by the [and for people of the] state not just for YOU otherwise everyone would just go catch them and they would go extinct [like the buffalo nearly did and numerous other species HAVE]. The lake is artificially stocked for citizen's with an urban license and for a specific purpose or use therefore they are the property of the state [once again meaning the people of the state]. Instead of ranting about it why not look up the NJ fishing regulations (but I have the feeling you knew what you were doing) and elect honest politicians [if you can find one in NJ]!
