Looking for a cheap state to live?

I live in Ohio now. Nothing left for me here. I'm sick of the winters.

What is a warmer inexpensive state to live? Low taxes, reasonable car and insurance and license plate fees, rent, food, etc....

I also want a place where people are down to earth and where crime is low.|||Check out Fayetteville, Arkansas.|||i have in-laws in Oklahoma.. i wouldn't live there because of the tornados, but it is cheaper there

i live in California, moving to las vegas, California is expensive.. las vegas is cheaper but not as cheap as Oklahoma

most places that people do NOT want to live is cheaper.. like Oregon, Alaska, Oklahoma... good luck|||Alaska is extremely expensive! I live in Oklahoma City and I

can tell you that this is one of the least expensive places to

live. Tulsa is also cheap as is Wichita, KS. I wouldn't like

Kansas though. Their goverment is anal about enforcement

of any and all laws. Tornadoes aren't much of a problem

here. We do get plenty but they usually touch down on farm

land. Eastern and southern Tulsa have the best scenery.

All the expenses you listed are quite low here.|||Consider moving to the Philippines , many Americans and Canadians there , cost of living is great , people are nice , very warm winters - no cooler than about 70 F|||NEBRASKA|||How about Texas. Ft. Wort, TX|||well I have lived in N.C. off and on most of my adult life,I have raised two children and six grandkids, right now it is about 35 degrees, but it is also one a.m.:) we have had fairly warm weather so far, nad it's the middle of jan, we only have about two more months of cold weather left. then I will be planting more roses in my garden,,at least by the end of march. so all I can say is like they say in the south "come on down!!!! :)
