How on Earth does one go about finding a GOOD contractor.?

Im am desperatley in need a quailified genreal contractor that is licensed. Without knowing any or even not knowing where to start has become a huge burden on my shoulders. I've headr about so many people who have hires contractactors (even licensed or not) and all they have said about the job that had done wad that it wsd s*%26lt;ty. I realize this is a screch but can anyone recommend on? Im located in Th. across the the dreet %26amp;Playlan, RRRRRG|||Angie's List has been a great help for me in looking for contractors. The comments of others who have used the contractors are invaluable.

I've had major remodelings done last year -- sunroom, deck, pathways, kitchen, bathrooms -- and the recommendations about the contractors I got through Angies List are right on target|||i heard this website advertised on tv i used it and honestly i was doubting it but used it anyways the guy turned out decent legit honesty very good n professional im not sure if this is what you want or not but hope it works and you can always check them with the bureau and consumer of affairs to check n see if they are legit or not

Good Luck|||Yelp.com might have some contractor services. Other than that, perhaps Craigslist (ask for references). Also, ask your friends for any referrals.|||emily's list
