I'm making a video for a company and want to use Google Earth as part of the project. I know I need Google Earth Pro to make .wmv movie files but does the license agreement allow me to use that video in a DVD I'm selling to the client? I'm getting mixed messages when I read the license agreement for GE pro.|||Simple enough to answer that, It made me curious, the quickest way is to goto the source. I called the support line for Google Earth Sales and Licensing. (866-755-2582)
They said resale is covered under the license agreement, you are permited to use the videos created in any commercial manor that does directly compete with google earth services.
Basicly if your MSN World, its a bad idea to steal content from google, if your making a video for real-estate purposes to show a client the land then your good to go if your have a pro license.
If in doubt I'd call them with the details of your exact endevor, but from what you mentioned, I think your covered.|||I am looking to find someone that uses Google Earth Pro, to create an approximately 10 second movie clip that I will use for a PSA that we are creating.
The work would be quite simple to do, it would be a zoom in from space, down to our earth then to a specific state then to the outline of a county within that state. I would want the county outline in a bright color like the yellow curently used to outline the USA in Google Earth.
The clip would need to be of high quality without any stuttering and run for approximately 5-10 sweconds. The purpose is to create a zoom in from space to highlite our county.
If you work with pro and have the capability to do this please contact me, you will be compensated for your work.
I have already contacted Google and am obtaining a broadcast liscence.
