Most people take a little longer to learn to control the aircraft well enough to pass the FAA "practical" flight test. The national average is about 50-60 hours.|||Look at the airports in you local area. There are usually many helicopter schools to choose from, but it is very expensive. Usually $40k+. I know Silver State Helicopter charges around $65k for a longline, CFI, IFR licenses, etc. You definately do not want to rush this type of thing, it can kill you. A lot of pilots crash because of lack of training and/or experience. You want to spend a lot of time in the aircraft and be confident eith emergency operations.|||A joumalist that types thankyou! as one word.

Our flying school does lessons but they`re 拢440 an hour and I think you need about 45 hours under your belt.
