How to get STNA experience?
I got my STNA license in November 2010. I must have applied for every STNA job in my city, but every single application said that I needed at least 1 year of experience before applying. How on Earth do I go about getting STNA experience, when no one will hire me to give me experience? I'm completely competent and know I could be a real asset to the health care team. Is there something I'm missing?|||What type of healthcare volunteer experience do you have?
It is important as an entry-level applicant to have some type experience in the field, unfortunately, it usually won't be paid experience.

Get rid of window without tabs?
After downloading google earth on to my new laptop ( windows vista) i got a window called "Google End User License" It has no tabs to close it and I can't get rid of it with the task manager. I have tried rebooting too. Please help!!|||Click on start then control panel and go to add or remove programs,there you should be able to uninstall it,if not it may be some kind of malware requiring a removal program

Reliant Robin insures as bike?

What state allows marriage to non U.S citizen?
Hi All. I am trying to find out whether you can get married to a non-u.s citizen who has no ID and social security number and in what states? I live in NY and I am trying to help a friend who has been turned down a marriage license as her fiancee does not have any US ID or SSN. I am really confused now, - how on earth do all the other millions of illegal immigrants get married ? Is this a law ONLY in NY or perhaps the person at City Hall was just being rude? Any advice,help would be appreciated!|||I know in Kentucky and Florida you can get married. I'm sure there are other states as well. A lot of places it's okay if you don't have a social security number, but most people do need to see some type of picture ID card with your name on it. Do some research on the internet. Rules, regulations, and laws are duplicated, redundant, multiplied, magnified, and contradictory. Laws and regulations covering doctors and hospitals plus all the other parts of our healthcare system now account for over half of all the words, sentences, and paragraphs in our entire body of law.
If regulations could make a healthcare system work better, ours would surely be perfect. In fact, the opposite has occurred. Even those who believe that only government regulation can assure quality health care should face this fact. More laws and regulations are not going to fix our system. If we are truly concerned about the high cost of health care, if we really desire greater safety and higher quality, then we must undertake a dispassionate analysis of the current mess. If we wish to begin effective treatment of our healthcare system, we must first make an accurate diagnosis....
We have to go very far back to the first meeting of what would become the American Medical Association. This meeting was held in New York City in 1846. Twenty-nine allopathic doctors (MDs) attended the meeting. They wanted to establish a monopoly over health care in the United States for those doctors that practiced higher quality medicine, such as themselves. They felt there were too many different kinds of doctors practicing too many questionable forms of medicine. They wanted only doctors that conformed to their brand of medicine to be allowed to practice. They wished to set up their association as a medical elite and obtain a government-enforced monopoly over health care in the United States.
The following year the AMA was officially launched. Members' efforts were at first slow to yield results. One of their first successes was in getting the exclusive right to positions in the federal government. Then, around 1870, the AMA began to find success at setting up medical boards in each state...
Soon after the medical monopoly was formed it began to push its agenda of destroying all competition. A well organized and funded nationwide purge of all non-MDs was undertaken. Over the course of the first half of the twentieth century this medical monopoly managed to shut down over forty medical schools. Their idea was to keep the number of doctors low in order to keep fees up. After WW II the medical monopoly started rigidly controlling how many of each medical specialty it would allow to be trained. So ophthalmologists, orthopedists, dermatologists, obstetricians, and others began to be in short supply. And of course when supplies are low, fees are high. The medical monopoly also managed to outlaw or marginalize over seventy healthcare professions. Protection of the healthcare consumer was, as always, the rationale for this power grab.

What I am asking is: Can you "legally" transmit signals to deep space without them being meant to be picked up on Earth by a receiver (i.e. a TV, a radio, a satellite, etc.)? As expected, the government "owns" large bandwidths at several locations within the EM spectrum for national defense and public use.
I'm no expert, but I do know you can transmit on HAM radio frequencies. This bandwidth is specifically dedicated to amatures who simply want to transmit whatever they want. Which means someone MAY pick up what you want to send, but they may not - you can send whatever you want (as long as you don't violate any other laws, like terrorist threats or child pornography). I don't know if you have to register with the FCC to use the HAM radio frequencies. My guess is that you probably do.
There are frequencies that are not controlled by the government. If you want to buy a small laser pointer and start flashing Morse code into the heavens, you can do that. How to explain organic, ancient, physical Church?
(Bible as source) I have learned that Jesus Christ established His Church on earth by training 12 disciples/apostles. I have also learned that these 12 disciples licensed other disciples (Paul's letters to these disciples he trained).
(Early Church fathers as source) I have learned that His Church has always contained the Truth and the Tradition Christ established through these apostles. Groups of dissenters would pop up once in awhile and Christ's apostolic Church would be sure to clarify that they were heretics and note that they were not truly Christians. The ancient Christian Church was 1st divided by disagreement over the filoque and then there was a new church called Orthodox. In the 1500s, Luther accidentally inspired another new church to be started. Then it got out of control and many new churches started. My Evangelical friend says she is inspired by the Holy Spirit when she reads the Bible and she extracts that there is only one church. Why can't I get her to face reality?|||You should be aware that, from the Orthodox Church's perspective, it was the Roman Catholic Church which broke away from Orthodoxy. After all, the original Nicene-Constantinopolitan Creed did not have a "filioque" clause, nor did the whole ecumenical Church ever agree in council to include the "filioque" in the creed. Some of them are great, some are terrible. There's no one right way. If there was a licensing program for parenthood, I think it should focus on:
A. Do you have the financial resources to adequately provide for a child?
B. Do you understand how children's mind's work? (Maybe make all people who want to have a kid take a child psychology class or something)|||METALLICA. I wish however unpractical as it may be.|||That would be awesome. You need a license for everything else.|||Parenting should not be licensed because we could not come to an agreement on what standards make good parenting. Parenting should be upgraded through educational efforts in schools and churches.
My simplistic theme to any parental education would be that we need to overcome selfishness. The child's needs are important. Then we get into what the child truly needs..... many will start disagreeing on points here. I will say that the child's primary need is to love God. The parent's job is to slowly help the child decrease a need/dependence for the parents and increase a need/dependence on God.|||Heavens, no - one more thing for the government to screw up. We've seen how well they've done with licensing drivers. And doctors. And licensing marriage.
Start by making them license politicians and see how well that works. Then perhaps licensing prostitution. Then maybe we can talk about licensing reproduction.|||i can relate, but the thing is i have a rebel soul. just like james hetfield - who sings this. all that restrictiveness certainly didn't quelch his ambition to prevail.... and apparently he has! children need a certain level of restriction to learn boundaries - but apparently this song takes the restrictiveness to an extreme. if you think about it, you are suggesting that the government restrict the people when it comes to the choice of becomming a parent. that is ironic, considering what the song is about. we are all dealt a certain hand and it's up to each of us to do the best we can with it. there are some horrible parents out there, but the best we can do is overcome it and vow to do better with our own children.

Is it legal to send/transmit one-way signals to space?
Before you tell me about how all Radio,TV, satellite transmissions/signals are unwittingly sent (leaked) to space as well, let me clarify my question. ... What I am asking is: Can you "legally" transmit signals to deep space without them being meant to be picked up on Earth by a receiver (i.e. a TV, a radio, a satellite, etc.)? Or is there a law against a one-way transmission to space? ... Also, do you need an FCC license of sorts to transmit signals to deep space? Serious answers only please. Ok, in the world where I am Earth Czar this is what I think might happen with DUI offenders.
1st offence (No wreck involved): fine and community service working with police like ride alongs or with people who have been hit by drunk drivers
1st offence (Wreck) bigger fine, lose of driving privledges for 6 months with 6 months of ride alongs/community service
1st offence (death) lose of license. You most continue to work/ and live at a shelter, you must pay to live at shelter You have visitation with family but nothing except work and shelter. You are basically on house arrest just not in your house. You work so you continue to provide for your family but you also have to give a percentage to a fund that pays families funeral expenses and helps families devatstated by DUI. If you choose not to work and be in the house you go to jail for 20 years. NO chances

I am completely crushed!!! I lost my sweetheart! My ex-boyfriend dumped me off at th the bus station and someone stole my bag with ALL of my IMPORTANT documents in it. My birth certificate, medical papers, copies of mi ID, my social security number,tax information, my nursing license, my computer ALL GONE!! I called the lost and found at the bus station and they cannot find it!!! THIS IS A NIGHTMARE!!!! I feel like I lost my LOVE and my LIFE!!!! I don't think that I can survive this!! What do I do? I brought all of those important documents because I moved in with him and i need those papers for work and a new ID!!!!! I AM COMPLETELY HERTBROKEN!!!!!!! HE JUST DUMPED ME OFF AT 3AM and left. One of my neighbors, an incredibly nosey NJ DEP (Division of Environmental Protection-Fish Game and Wildlife) officer knocked on my door and informed me that he had heard that I was keeping striped bass, that I had caught in the Passaic River, in a fish tank (this is true BTW).*
After I told him that I had a fishing license and refused to allow him to enter my apartment to search for these fish, he told me that the NJ fishing license only permitted me to either catch and release or eat the fish but, because it didn’t specifically say that I could keep them in a tank, I was not allowed to do so.
He then went on to say that “All the fish and other wildlife in the state of New Jersey BELONG TO JOHN CORZINE” and that “doing anything with the wildlife other then what JOHN CORZINE EXPRESSLY ALLOWS (ME) TO DO in the permit amounts to poaching and carries a potential ten year prison sentence(!!!)”
How can wild animals, and fish of all things, BELONG TO JOHN CORZINE!?!?!?!?!?!
The last time I checked, John Corzine was little more then a bad governor with ties to corrupt politicians, not a god (and God is the only one who could possibly exert dominion/ownership of the animals).

She has assimulated wonderfully and demonstrated she is an American as well as a wonderful person, gifted nurse and has greatly benefitted from the American dream as well as assisting us in our new born. I was proud of her and glad she chose the path she has chosen.
As such, I feel some of the best moves we can make to rid ourselves of illegals would be to: kill the jobs, amnesty ideas, benefits, anchor baby rights and deport illegals. At the same time, help legals with english, education and better encourage assimulation. Give them the tools, remove spanish from mainstream necessities such as government, signage, and other areas to lessen their dependence on spanish and increase their understanding of the need to learn english. In that process, much assimulation is possible. I cant help but feel if the illegals were gone, those here legally would feel more comfortable about assimulating and would surely lose much of the negative stigma drawn to them by their illegal couterparts and increase the possiblities of increased confidence and personal success for the legals.|||the only ones it would affect in any form or fashion are those that should not be here anyhow and besides do they not always argue that they are only here for a better life and only want to work at jobs no american wants to do so then why would they need these programs anyway if this is the agenda that they have|||Can't get benefits my **** ....................

I dive in Florida a lot but mostly the caves down there. There are some safe boat dives with some charters I've dived with in Key Largo.

I dive in Florida a lot but mostly the caves down there. There are some safe boat dives with some charters I've dived with in Key Largo.

i have seriously tried everything i can think of. i'm playing on psx. i've gone to north city, south city, west city, east city, go race, machine test, car wash, whell shop, home, license ... EVERYWHERE, ACTUALLY EVERYWHERE THERE IS TO GO FROM THE MAIN MENU!!!!! everything leads me to "get in a car" ... which, believe me, i would LOVE to do, especially seeing as how this is a car racing game. as far as i can tell i have 10,000 "credits" but no car is that cheap. the cheapest car i've found is 11,000. i'm going to set this thing on fire in a few minutes.|||Have you gone to the used shop yet? You are one of the fortunate ones who has NOT apparently been grossly ripped off by a mechanic's garage. Many, on the other hand, have. My neighborhood garage price gouged me on a muffler which was fixed in April and STILL rattles like there's a pissed off cat inside.

I had to contact my State Atty General regarding my car's auto dealer mechanic. I brought my car in for a faulty belt, which fell off in a parking lot. I had to have the car towed to the dealer to get fixed. THEN I received the recall on that very GM car only to find that since my problem happened BEFORE GM admitted there was a prob and the letter went out my repair bill was not covered.

I did this with every intention of selling my bread and making a profit. You are my neighbor. You put a swimming pool on your acre of land and grew pretty flowers. Winter comes around. You are hungry. I have bread, You ask me for free bread, I tell you I need paid for my bread. You get the government to take my bread, because you convinced the government that based on your need, you have more of a right to my bread than I do.

Same thing here. You are walking up to the table with NOTHING but your need for health care. You want a small portion of society, "the rich," to pay for your health care, based on nothing more than your need.|||The answer is simple. Paying less for procedures doesn't make them cost less to provide. The problem does not lie solely in the profit being made by insurance companies. The cost of practicing medicine is incredibly high. Even a single payer non-profit plan will not eliminate that problem. Unless something is done to address cost, rationing will occur at all levels, private and public. I also ask that you speak with a veteran who's had serious health issues and had to rely solely on the VA. I think you'll find that many are not receiving the excellent care that you speak of, nor do Medicaid recipients. Medicare recipients fare a little better, but most of them have supplemental private plans to make up for the gaps in the public coverage.|||Good thing you truly weren't addressing HS dropouts or you'd have more auto mechanics responding ;)
You are one of the fortunate ones who has NOT apparently been grossly ripped off by a mechanic's garage. Many, on the other hand, have. My neighborhood garage price gouged me on a muffler which was fixed in April and STILL rattles like there's a pissed off cat inside.
Greed breeds corruption in private industry and govt.
I had to contact my State Atty General regarding my car's auto dealer mechanic. I brought my car in for a faulty belt, which fell off in a parking lot. I had to have the car towed to the dealer to get fixed. THEN I received the recall on that very GM car only to find that since my problem happened BEFORE GM admitted there was a prob and the letter went out my repair bill was not covered.
No mal-practice insurance coverage in the auto repair industry. It's a crap shoot.|||for the reasosn below

to sum it up: only a fool would have big business run health - - now if you can get a government that cares about its people more that oil and money there is hope
