When our money is really tight, the only car we have is beat up with expired tabs, a defective taillight and blinker, we can't afford another car, we keep getting tickets because there is no other way he can get to work and the courts want us to pay an arm and a leg just so he can keep his license?|||I am so sorry to hear of your loss and troubles. I would suggest that you go on the cheap for the short term. Get bicycles. It is a tough one, but it is better than walking. Check with your neighbors and see if you can tag along with someone. Look into carpooling, especially for work. This will give you time to address the car issues at a less stressful pace. Park the car until you get it fixed. Send some money in for the tickets - as much as you can afford. It shows good faith on your part to take care of them. Get rid of the ticket issue, fix the car and then register it. That would seem to be the sequence of events from what you have described your situation to be.
Wishing you all the best.|||You can replace the tail and blinker lights with bulbs from wal-mart for fairly cheap (under $30 for both I believe).
You can also go talk to the tag office and see if they will work out a payment plan with you for new tags (like...$20 a week or something).
Finally, speak in private with a judge from the traffic court and explain the problem...if you offer to pay what you can (and bring in your budget sheet showing where your finances go) they may also help you set up a payment plan.
Basically, communication is key. By ignoring people, they get mad but if you work with them you are more likely to get help.
If they truely cannot do anything, see if you can get a short term loan from a bank or put it on a cc as a last resort. (Also, can he carpool, take a bus, etc...look around!)|||Get two jobs. Lots of people do it.

Will the PRC soon shutdown Google Earth mapping?
"China is launching a national campaign this year to crack down on illegal online mapping services with the aim of reducing the amount of sensitive and confidential information revealed by the sites.
Li Jingwei, general manager of Star Geomatics Park Investment Co Ltd, said that the illegal mapping services exist mainly because the mapping industry is in its infancy and few people know about the legal process they should follow if they want to provide mapping services.
"Many mapping providers do not know the importance of mapping services and that is part of the problem," Li said.
He added that the crackdown will help the healthy development of the country's mapping industry.
The bureau started supervising online mapping services in May. It is calling on companies offering the services to apply for a license before March 31 if they want to continue.
More than 100 domestic and overseas companies that provide online mapping services have so far received licenses allowing them to continue. Another 100 are in the process of applying. Google, which offers extensive mapping services, is understood not to have applied, according to an earlier report.
The bureau said it will take action after July 1 against any unlicensed mapping service providers."
http://www.wantchinatimes.com/news-subcl鈥?/a>
And...
"The bureau punished three Germans who illegally collected geographic information in Yichang, Hubei Province, and who later mapped the information on computers."
Is this just another case of the Chinese government encouraging foreigners to invest in and conduct business there, and then later changing the rules of the game in their favor so as to fine, punish, or drive out "competitors" once they themselves have mastered the technology?|||China already has launched its own mapping service called Map World. While they say that many mapping service providers do not know the importance of service, they are clearly implying that they want their maps to be accepted as authoritative map.
The sinister design behind this is pretty obvious. Very soon their maps would show all disputed territories, islands and seas as part of China. Other online mapping service providers who seek license in China would be forced to kowtow. This is Chinese way of land grabbing -- alter the maps and then claim some territory as their own.|||Oh I didn't know that information. Thanks.
Don't you think this is weird that the southernmost place of China is near the Borneo/Kalimantan island of Malaysia?

And all the foreign countries are in ash color.
And I heard China blocked Gmail service recently. My friend in China can't receive gmail.|||No - depending on Google.
The rules have always been there. It's just that foreigners have always ignored them. Friendly hints and persuasion have fallen on deaf ears. The Chinese Government is fed up.
.Try taking photo's or making maps of "sensitive" areas in Europe or USA and see what happens. Those 3 Germans would have ended up in Guantenamo Bay - or worse.
Google obeys censorship laws (including mapping) in all Western countries. That they try not to do it here is just archaic sodomistic imperialism. Unfortunately for them and others, China is learning to say no to sodomy.
The licencing is being more than fair - fairer than any western country would be, given the same situation. Most mapping companies realise this, and are grateful.

Which earth moving/construction tickets are currently in highest demand? (Excavator, Bulldozer, Bobcat...)?
Hi,
I'm currently looking at doing a 3 machine ticket package through a training provider and was wondering if anybody knew which particular tickets are currently highly sought after by employers?
I have a choice of the following machines:
- Bobcat (Drott/Skid Steer)
- Backhoe
- Excavator
- Front-end Loader
- Bulldozer
- Roller / Compactor
- Grader
- Dump Truck (CAT)(Might be good for mining but have I no experience and no HR license)
- EWP(Elevated work platform)
P.S I'm in Australia.. QLD to be exact.|||I would try to make the 3 most well-rounded choices. I would definitely choose backhoe because it can be used to perform similar tasks as the excavator with the backhoe, and bobcat and front-end loader with its front bucket. It can also do some light bulldozing work. I'd choose the grader because its operation is rather complex. That leaves the compactor, EWP, and the dump truck. I'd choose the dump truck simply because you don't have that experience and would benefit the most from the training. Unless you have to have the HR license first. Then I'd probably choose the work platform because of the critical safety aspect of lifting humans in a work area.|||Here in Michigan, US of A, Skid Steer training, though basic, is rather highly sought after. Especially since skid steer technology has greatly increased in the past decade, and the attachments for them are replacing many other jobs, such as front end loader, forklift operator, etc.
I'm not sure about your area, but here, many companies are looking for CDL (commercial drivers license) which will allow you to drive a large dump truck.
As for a third one, it's pretty much up to you. I'd go for a backhoe training, just to broad out your training skills, but that one is up to you.|||Ring workcover... they'll tell you over the phone.

What on earth is going on with people not getting their mail?
For the past 3 months I am having an ongoing problem with not getting mail delivered. Very important mail may I add. It started with a birthday card that a relative sent and I never got it. 2 weeks later, it was returned to sender and it had the CORRECT ADDRESS! (MINE) Now the situation has become a nightmare and I am missing my professional state license which I NEED asap in order to continue to work at my job. I paid and called the state for a renewal in October and they confirmed it today that I should have received it a while back. Wth? so where is it?! I am freaking out because I can't be out of work because I didn't get my mail! So I complained to the postmaster and spoke with the carrier today but they use so many different subs ( mailmen ) that it would be difficult to know who is messing up. I did some research and have found ( astonished ) that this is going on all over the place and alot of people are having trouble receiving their mail. The state won't even put a rush on my license now ( like this is my fault ) so I might be without for another 2 weeks up to a month! Try to explain that to your boss.|||Contact the Postal Inspectors and the people you are expecting mail from. There are shortages of personnel because of cut backs, it's probably just sitting there waiting to be delivered.|||I get my mail...and in a timely fashion. The only variable is the time. Anywhere from 11:30am to around 2:00pm. But I'm not complaining, things happen on a mail route. I get excellent service.
Why on Earth is my husband so jealous?
Just to bring you up to date on our relationship, we met when I just turned 18 he just turned 26 was going through a divorce and had three small children! We have a pretty honest relationship and have spent all of our time together...wherever you see one you see the other pretty much! Its been 10 years now and No he wasn't jealous when we dated or during the first few months of our marriage. He didn't start showing his jealous side until after I had our first of three children, which was a little over a year into our marriage!
I mentioned earlier he has three children whom were very small when we met and I took them right in as my own and always have treated them as such even after he and I had three of our own. Of course their mom and my hubby share custody so we get them still very often and even they would tell you how close we are. I dont hang out with anyone I pretty much stay home 24/7 taking care of our children. Even so he still will come home from work, he works long hours, and will have it in his head that I have cheated on him. Its like its all he thinks about. I trust him completely so this is hard for me. I feel disrespected him not trusting me knowing the children are always by my side, hannah is 6, emily 4, and jordan is almost 2. For him to think I would cheat alone is horrible but to think that I would do it while our children are present is terrible!! What kind of person does he think I am? I know mny ppl say well he is prolly doing it so this is why he accuses you so much, but im not gonna say that is what it is until I feel like its a possibility. What do you think, why would he think this way? ALL THE TIME??? I am not exaggerating when I say im always home and I never talk to anyone else...this is true...his own family cant understand why he dont trust me, his mom, sisters, brother the whole FAMILY!!! I dont have a license bc 1. had them took due to fines, got the fines paid now, but its an issue every time I talk about getting my license. I have NEVER gave him any reason not to trust me WHAT SO EVER!!! if you knew me, you would be surprised he doesnt trust me!!|||Well... like you said people have already told you that he's like this because he's cheating because that is highly likely.... But you could also look into other things like his childhood... Did someone in his life hurt him like his mom leaving or divorcing?? Also it could have to do with the fact that he has already had one divorce and what was the cause of it? Maybe he is afraid of loosing you so he is just automatically trying to push you away. Maybe a love from the past cheated on him and it's effecting him now because that is VERY possible. No matter how hard it is to accept I would look more into some signs of him cheating. No it's not always cheating but that's what it sounds like he is doing... I recommend you reading a book called His Needs Her Needs By: William F. Harley, JR
That book has helped my relationship grow stronger my husband and I read it when we spend a LOT of time away from each other due to the service and it has made our marriage stronger... Good luck
MORE: Since your husbands ex wife did cheat on him that's exactly why he's acting this way... He probably has very low self confidence and is afraid of deja vu... You need to help him build his self confidence and trusting abilities...|||he sounds more controling then jealous...I would suggest marriage counciling to work out these issues.|||he knows how he feels after he cheated on you and cannot carry that burden...he is transferring it to you out of his own misery. This is very common.|||I would just hate it if my White Husband were actually this jealous! It would be no point to it. I do feel yours is jealous but who knows why. Male ego.|||Did he cheat on his ex wife or did she cheat on him?|||If as you say you have never gave him a reason not to trust you then I would say that someone has given him this idea. There could be several reasons why he is acting this way. Most of the time people do not mistrust their mate unless they have done something their self or the mate has.
If this is not possible then someone has given him this idea or it is a control issue.
To be honest with you though, a person does not think things like this unless they are guilty of doing it some time in the marriage or have at least thought about doing it.
The only other time a person would get jealous or mistrust is when you may be around other men and flirt too much or give your mate the thought that you would when you pay too much attention to another man.
No one thinks about their mate doing things unless they have a reason. It also could be that in his first marriage his wife did cheat on him and this of course would make him be concerned that you might someday since he works long hours.|||Men like to be protective of their women and it shows you how much they love you. But they have to control their emotions and not let it go out of hand. Most men can't be balanced and just be protective in general. Watch out for warning signs...red flags...black flags...etc.|||He seems to have some past issues that need resolving. It's best if you both went to see a marriage counselor. I'm sure you don't want your kids to grow up in such a stressful environment. Try to get his family to get him to go to counseling with you. Did you ever ask him why he acts like that? Lots of marriages break down due to poor communication and lack of trust.|||well i think it's because he can't believe how g0od you r ! i mean this life , this perfect life , this sweet wife , oh god it;s just like a dream ! and he is trying to fine something negative here ! with his pas experience he thinks any women cant be this much faithful ! so i guess you r too good that he can not believe it !

How long will this relation last?
She cheated on her b/f of 9 years, 4 TIMES, with the same person. She got pregnant while cheating and got an abortion. 9 year b/f forgave her over and over.
She is mentally gone for some reason OTHER than 9 year b/f. The person she cheat on him with is a drunk with so many DUI's, on parole for 5 years, no driver's licence, is abusive, chronic gambling/loser, controlling, FAT and GREASY, not to mention BUTT uglier than a dog's **** with crusty green diahhrea for a complexion.
Why would she give up a college educated, GENUINELY great down to earth MAN who was a Marine for a sub-human loser?
